The river Ebro is located in northern Spain, rising in the Cantabrian Mountains, it flows southeast for around 500 miles, through rugged scenery, before finally entering the sea near Ampasta. In recent years the river Ebro has become a target for the dedicated catfish angler, and is now europes premier desdination for large catfish.
The river itself supports thousands of carp for the hungry catfish to feed on, thus providing the perfect enviroment for catfish to grow well over 100lbs. Due to this never ending food supply the average weight gain for the cats is around 10/20lbs a year.
With all this in mind we have apointed two guides to help you tackle this mecca for cats. On all our tour options here, tackle is supplied, along with comfortable accommodation in a fully air conditioned Spanish villa. We offer access to the river via 2 boats for exploring new fishing areas, or for fishing our baited areas. This is trully a unmissable experience, so why not join us and get a free return trip if you blank - just another reason to not miss out. For the most recent catches check out our Spain catch reports.
