Paul Grothier (Company Director & Guide)
 Paul has been fishing since the age of five and has spent the last 16 years fishing and exploring various lakes in France and Spain. He has been escorting people on angling adventures to France and Spain for the last 10 years, and has recently formed Lake Escapes Ltd a tour company specialising in high quality guided Carp and Catfish tours to France and Spain. Paul is also available for general information, help or advice on any of our angling adventures.
Kevin Midmore (Guide / Research and Development / Newsletter Editor)
 Kevin has joined the team with over 30 years fishing experience. He joins us with a proven track record of catching big fish. Kevin has traveled the world in search of large catfish, and with a current PB of 189lb puts him well on the way to that elusive 200lb goal, with a passion for adventure and a military back ground, it makes him the perfect choice to help Paul head up the research and development side of Lake Escapes. Kevin will also become the Editor of the newsletter. He is available for help or advice on any of Lake Escapes tours.
Matt Wiles (Guide / Research and Development)
Matt joins us with a proven track record as a good all round angler, with over 10 years experience of fishing in general. With a willingness to learn and help people achieve their PB's, means he will be an important asset when it comes to expanding the company to our exotic destination. Matt will help Paul over see all guiding and tours, and also work closely with Kevin on the research and development side. With a passion for all angling, guiding, travel and adventure it makes him the perfect choice to help run the company.
Paul Mihalop
(Head Guide / France & Spain)
Paul started fishing at the age of 6. Spending 4 years on the match fishing scene between the ages of 13-17 at various venues around Norfolk. He moved away from match fishing in search of specimen carp with good success from a few different Norfolk lakes. Paul started travelling on fishing holidays around the UK, gaining knowledge of all aspects of fishing which has helped prove himself as a good all round angler. He has been travelling to France and Spain with the lake escapes team for the last year, gaining information and knowledge of the current destinations. With good enthusiasm and an ability to learn Paul will be an asset to the team.
Kevin Hazelden (Guide / France)
 Kevin has spent the last 2 years helping teach under privilege and special need children all about fishing and fish safety, he is currently under going his Olympic coaching badges, which will help us develop a side to the business that a lot of companies over look, putting something back at ground level. Kevin is also on board to help with our Spain and France tours. Kevin is available for help & advice on Coaching children, Spain or France.
Steve Williams
(Guide / UK)
Steve has been fishing for 30 years. He match fished to a high standard for ten years, then moved on to carp and pike fishing where he has had some quality fish, from a number of Norfolk fisheries and more importantly the broads, where will be using him as one of our top guides. Steve also likes to spend the odd hour or two fly fishing for trout, grayling and pike and also sea fish's from beach and boat.
Steve has spent the last 6 years exploring France and Spain with Paul, and with that in mind we can't think of anyone better to help head up our guiding on the broads for pike.
